Like everyone from Wooster I grew up with Joe and Coccia House. When
I moved off to college I brought one back everytime I went home for
break. When I left the state I waited for family to visit and yes
they made the car smell like Coccia House the whole way just so I
could have a slice. And a few years ago when I figured out you can
have one overnighted Well... I am now in love all over again! From
Wooster Ohio to the Outerbanks of North Carolina and all over the US
Coccia House is still the best damn pizza ever!

I've been a Coccia House pizza fan for over 20 years, ever since my
sister, who lives in Wooster took us there for pizza. The works
pizza (sans sardines) is the best I have ever tasted. We always get
a large so we can eat it for breakfast and lunch the next day! It's
simply the best. On this most recent visit I had a friend from
Boston with me and she loved it too. Thanks for the great pizza! -

I grew up on Coccia House Pizza. It is the standard I measure all
pizza to. In travelling throughout the country, nothing comes close.
Sadly, I moved away from home and I crave it sometimes so bad that I
drive the 200 mile round trip. Never have regretted it yet, even in
these high priced gasoline times. - Karen - Frequent

I live in Connecticut now and find it ironic that the two "best"
pizza places in the state are on Wooster St in New Haven. Those
pizzas are sad and pitiful next to a Coccia House pizza. Thin crust,
no garlic, burned on the bottom and edges (they think this is good
thing!)..a typical New York pizza... so sad.
P.S. Coccia House pizza is the
only food in the whole world my wife will eat after sitting out on
the kitchen counter all night. - Chris Manner - Frequent

Hi I live in New York and this pizza is great (not just saying this
cause I'm family) can't wait 'til August for the family reunion so I
can have the best pizza in the world. - Maria

I am not kidding,
this is quite possibly the best pizza in the world. I have had
Giordanno's in Chicago, Lombardi's in New York, and excellent
wood-fired pizzas all over the country. However, I still say that
Coccia House beats them all. The sweet soft freshness of the crust
tastes like fresh baked bread from a bakery, the cheese is way
better than your standard mozzarella, and the toppings saturate your
every bite. I'm going to stop writing now because I'm about to eat
the screen.

When I went to the college a big group of us would go every Thursday
night. Now I live in Fairlawn and make the 45 min drive whenever I
can. It's SO worth it. BEST PIZZA EVER!
I recommend the Char Pepper, Sausage, with extra cheese and extra
grass. :)

Well, yes it is the BEST DAMN PIZZA IN THE LAND. But, you have to
consider the hands that have made it and continue to build the
reputation. The "family" is just wonderful and any family could do
alot worse by NOT modeling the respect for the community and their
customers shown by the Coccia family. Steve, Karen carry on the
legacy. My hat is off to you my friends. Website isn't bad either

Of the things I miss about Northeast Ohio, Coccia House is in the top
5. There is no other pizza that can compare. Please open one up here!!!

I feel like I'm in the Jerry Seinfeld "Soup Nazi" episode. It's the
BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD...Just sit down shut up...and wait for your
pizza!!! It's worth the wait. Besides Joe's smile and the pizza
makes up for the crowd and the wait! - Chip

Coccia House is the ONLY place to get a good pizza! I have been going

The best pizza in the world - it isn't a trip to Wooster without eating
it. I've never had anything else like it and no other pizza compares!

I've been going to Coccia house since I was in high school (graduated
in 1991) and I have tried many many pizza's since and none can compare
to what you get at Coccia House. 2 pieces and I'm full - 3 pieces and I
feel like I'm gonna bust. Either you love it... or you hate it (most
love it.) There is no in between. You will sweat garlic for 2 days. My
wife and I order the deluxe (PMS) bricked - with the cheese baked until
it's extra brown. If you've never tried it bricked - it's the only way
to go (but be prepared to wait quite a while.) The cheese sticks are
the best I've ever had too! Their made with Provolone cheese. MMMMM!
Gotta go again real soon. Thanks Coccia House for being consistent.

I consider myself sort of a pizza snob and Coccia House consistently
ranks at the top of my list of favorite pizza places. My wife went to
the College of Wooster and ever since she made me drive down to eat at
Coccia House, I've been hooked. - Jeff, Frequent Coccia Customer

I agree with the other reviews. Coccia pizza's are fantastic as well as
the other Italian dinners. I simply have never had a bad meal or
service at Coccia's. To me the real treat at Coccia's is their
Antipasto, I have tried them all over the country and have yet to find
one that compares to Coccia's. Talk about fresh crispy lettuce and
quality meats, olives, cheese and salad dressing....None compare to
Coccia's!!!

"Just went to
Coccia House Pizza in Wooster Ohio last night with friends and it was
SO DELICIOUS! I have been going there for years and I am always
impressed with the food. I cannot get enough of their special pizza. It
seems everyone has a special way they get it. I order mine as a deluxe
which is actually just PMS, then I add char peppers to 1/2 and get POT
- pepperoni on top - and anchovies on the side, and then tell them to
BRICK IT! - this means to get it close to the oven bottom bricks for a
portion of the cook time (the end i believe) so the crust gets more
done and a crispy texture. The best pizza anywhere - not just Wooster!"

"Best Italian in all of Wooster. Although if you've got any problems
with garlic, steer clear. You'll be sweating garlic for days after
eating there." - Anonymous

"I grew up in Wooster and was raised on Coccia House pizza. I moved
several years ago, but every time I get to go back home I always bring
an unbaked pizza with the works back. Friends here in Napoleon are
hooked on it now that they have tried it. Friendly people, once they
get to know you they don't forget you. I can eat half a normal pizza at
one sitting, but 2 to 3 slices of Coccia House and I'm stuffed, it is
great, what more can I say?" - Anonymous
